I love the birds-eye view of the ocean in this painting, it creates a bold color-scape with layers of detail. Rich with color and movement, my Dolphin Tides watercolor painting was created with multiple layers of watercolor paint. The juxtaposition of transparent and heavy granulated pigments makes the layers all the more interesting. There is some iridescence which gives it a bit of sparkle in places.
