A Peek Inside the Studio

Sometimes pouring paint is the first step in my watercolor process and often this leads to the next step. For a peek behind the scenes, take a look at a few more originals in-process.

about Katrina Meister

I started painting and drawing as a child and continued to make art at university earning a double degree in Fine Art and Psychology from the University of Oregon.  However, most of my art technique comes from creating over and over and over. Katrina’s Cards began to grow in 1999 when I walked into my locally owned bookstore with some samples of my newly printed cards. That store and several other local shops became wholesale customers (and they still are today).

In 2005 I made the leap to run the business full time with help from my husband Michael. I sell my original paintings and we reproduce the art on a variety of products in the studio using environmentally friendly production methods and materials. Original Paintings, Fine Art Prints, Note Cards, and Flour-sack Kitchen Towels are among the items available.
