This clever and vivacious Crow wanted to be a part of my Guide Birds series. I love the bold color contrast of the rich black feathers, vibrant red flowers and the grey of the rocks. I used mineral pigments with rich granulation for the rock cairn and a bit of iridescent paint in the feathers.
